The 2012 WIPocalypse, run by Measi at http://measi.net/measiblog/, is where participants list their stitchy projects they plan to focus on throughout the year. You can add or change the list through the year at anytime.
Then, on every full moon, we post progress photos of our WIPs on our blog.
Why do this?
First and foremost we get to complete some WIPs!! But the fun part is that for every full moon that we post an update on our blog, we get a chance for a giveaway drawing on New Year's Day in 2013!! Anyone can send Measi contributions to put in for the final prize.
